Separate Databases or The Same?

Hi:

In ERP applications such as Microsoft Dynamics GP, creating a company is synonymous with creating a database.

There is a one to one relationship between the company and its database.

When you create a company in Business Central and later create a second company, will those two companies reside in the same database or separate databases?

Thanks!

Hi, different companies are in the same database. In the actual database the table will be preceded by the name of the current company.
So the extension you install will work for all companies.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.
