Partial Fulfilled Orders

Hello Everyone:

We are trying to find out how the Partial Fulfilled Orders work

What happens if an order is Partial fulfilled?

How do we track that Order?

Do we take out the products that were not fulfilled, and create a new Order

Is there any info on this that I can read

Any help would be great

    Damon,

    When you Fullfill the order with Status Reason as Partial, by default, the Order is still marked as Fulfilled.

    As you have guessed, a workaround is creating a new order (and if required relate it to the old one) with Products that were not fulfilled. This will cover scenario where the customer doesn't want some of the products from the initial order and you need to cancel it for few products.

    I haven't seen documentation from MS that covers this at length maybe because these scenarios are generally handled by an ERP system.
