I  can export user information on Data Management (DIXF).

However, I can't import user information excel that I updated.

Why can't I import user information?
I am Information technology Manager role.

Should I add other roles, duties, or privileges?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Maxw,

Yes, you need to have permissions on the form and also on the data entity. What is the security role you have? The system administrator and security administrator roles should be able to import the users via data management. Otherwise, ensure you can open the menu item All users with maintain rights. The same applies to the data entity which can be reviewed on the Security configuration form.

PS How to use the data entities can be read within the next post: dynamicspedia.com/.../

    Thank you.

So even if I can export data entities, can't I import the entities due to the privileges that I have?

Must I have correct rights that allow me to both import and export entities?

    Hello Maxw,

If you just want to test then I would recommend getting started with some others, such as customers, vendors, employees, etc.

System users is not the best choice because they are usually not imported via DIXF.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Maxw,

Why do you want to import users from excel?

They are usually imported from Azure AD.

Have you tried importing them via the standard import function in the system user form?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
