This seems like its broken to me rather than intended but perhaps i am doing something wrong.
If we attempt to release a sales order directly from the blanket order using the Process -> Make Order functionality and the Qty exceeds what is available on the BO the system correctly errors out and states that this isnt possibel
however, if we create a sales order and apply the BO directly to sales line, there are no errors, you can assign the blanket order number to the line even if it exceeds what is available.
I'd like to apply the BO directly to the sales line rather than use the Make Order function but this means that i can't
