I am getting the error when i was selecting the Item number in Sales Transaction entry form.
How can I change the date or how to resolve this issue for the Item number.
Please help me out in this.

Then what you receive is due to a "customization" on the sales transaction entry window, I recommend checking the customization with your partner.

In Sales Transaction Entry form also I am able to see the same list Name, Type and Products.
Not the phase out date, check to see whether the "Sales Transaction Entry" is customized.
In Customization maintenance window i am able to see Name, Type and Product list. In that lists what i need to check to know the phase out date for Item Number.

What I am saying is that, this is possible an added customization to your environment. I never heard of a "phase out" date in Dynamics GP.
To make sure, check the customization maintenance window.

What happening is when i am selecting the Item Number it is displaying the error.
"Item Number has phase out date. This item number cannot be selected". I want the same number to be selected as my item number. Is there any way to change phase out date in DB, any other possibility to resolve my issue.
I don't think this is a standard GP error, is it possible that you have some sort of customization on this window.
Check that on the customization maintenance window (Tools > Customize > Customization Maintenance)
