Display GL header data by filtering with custom from and to date on GL form

Hi Techies,

We need to add two custom fields on GL form as From date and To date, once we select this date range-AX should display the header data of GL by checking these dates in GL journal lines 'Date' field. So if any line falls into the date range- the journal header record should display on the form.

AX has standard filter of 'All, Not Posted and Posted' by default. This is the additional filter we need to apply. If no date range given it should work as per the standard behavior.

Can anyone suggest the way to do this - this has to be done with extensions.
