Hi there,
The thing is, you cannot have Dynamics 365 CE without Microsoft 365 (formerly know as Office365). A Microsoft 365 license always contains the online versions of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). So there are no compatibility problems. Just have a look at the waffle menu.
For onprem versions of Dynamics and Office (onprem of 365), that is another story. Then you have to reveal the version of your Dynamics CRM on prem implementation.

Hi I am new to MS Dynamics CRM . Trying to integrate Dynamics with OFFICE365. My question is : What version of Office 365 is required for this purpose? Can Home edition be used (as I am working from home due to Covid) or is Business edition required?
