Can we set custom filter lookup(Fetch xml addCustomView) inside editable subgrid in dynamic 365?

I want to add custom fetch xml based on another lookup fields change inside editable subgrid and that are not mapped directly as parent child relationship, So i want to linked two entity based on fetch xml. similar functionality for adding addCustomView in from is working fine in form level but not able to add same functionality in editable subgrid. client CRM version is 9.1.0000.18046 with new UI.

I wonder if you could successfully get this to work as I am facing the same obstacle which I cannot seem to be able to find a way on filter lookup field data using addCustomView Javascript WebAPI other than using the built in lookup filter data. Any hints may be helpful. Thanks, mate.
