I am having difficulty getting a new production flow and the pick list to pull from the correct locations. We have been trying to standardize having the location come from the Item Master moving away from having to update production flows directly.
The production flow has only 2 activities. The pick list on the activiteis is blank. The parent items work fine. Each item on the pick list has set warehouses and locations under on the Item Master - Manage Inventory>Warehouse Items. The warehouse matches the BOM warehouse on the parent BOM. Flushing principles on the Item Master is start. There is no flushing principle on the BOM.
What is strange is that some of the components on the pick correctly and others don't. The warehouses are correct, but the Locations are not always using the Warehouse Item setup.
Although we recently moved to R3 we have not moved to Advanced Warehouse yet.
Has anyone run into this issue before? Are there other areas where location settings are hiding?
