Send a validation code on form submission

Hi Experts,

I have a requirement when a user submits the form we need to send a validation code and validate the code once a user enters the code on the form.
Is it possible through D365 portal? 

Please suggest.

    Did you try to use Portal workflow assembly to generate the invitation code and use it for your requirement ?? I think you should be able to reuse it.
