    Hi Davor S,

Each user can control the visibility of their untracked emails in Dynamics 365. The "Show emails not tracked in Dynamics 365 in the Activities list." option is enabled by default but can be disabled from a user's personal options.

    Hi Partner

You can select not to see emails that are not tracked in Dynamics 365 at all. If you wish to do that, users can turn them off under their Personal Settings – Options – Emails and click “no” under “Show emails not tracked in Dynamics 365 in the Activities list.

Thank you, can you please tell me what is the business case why someone would like to see untracked e-mails in Timeline?

Also, if I select not to see emails that are not tracked in Dynamics 365 will others users see my emails, and what will happen with emails that are currently visible?

Hi, a use case would be if you forgot to track it within Outlook, you have the option to do it in Dynamics in case you forgot. Nobody can see those emails except you.

    Regards

When did tracked and untracked e-mails in the timeline become a thing?  Was it new with the Unified Client Interface?  Is Dynamics for Outlook necessary to have the e-mails automatically come into the timeline?

It’s called email engagement I think and was before the UI. It came as part of what was the Relationship Assistant and is now Sales insights, it’s part of the free part of Sales insights.

    Regards

    Paul

    Hi Adrian,

Thanks, but this is option doesn't seem to be there any longer.

    Any other tips?
