Data Entity Publishing to BYOD Failed error labelId:

I have a BYOD Data Export. When I try to publish the Party Contacts table, I receive a notification back saying publish failed error labelId:

Other Tables can be Published fine. Any ideas what might be causing? Obviously the error message does not tell me much.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Konrad Berger,

What is the type of your BYOD?

If external database is an Azure SQL, please try to disable the 'Column Store Index' option in Azure Standard SQL. This option is enabled by default

Hi Will, Yes it is a BYOD to Azure SQL. However I already have that setting set to Disabled. See screenshot below.
    Any other ideas?

    Hi Konrad Berger,

Perhaps it is caused by the entity label has the same name as an existing data entity.

    Could you check it?

Have you created a new entity with the same name as the entity?

Thanks for your response. However, there is no other Entity with the same name (unless I should be looking elsewhere?). See screenshot.

    Hi Konrad,

You could check the label property of the Data entity in VS.

Would you have steps on how I can connect from VS to Dynamics 365 FO?

    Hi Konrad,

Have you tried the other versions of "Party contacts" entity? specifically "Party contacts V3" ?

    pastedimage1629814917402v1.png

You can publish it your AzureSQLDatabase from Data Management  > Configure entity export to database > Publish and select the entity and click on "Publish"

Ps. Make sure that the setup for source is correct (i.e. you can validate the connection)

    Thanks!

Hi Alizera, I tried both v2 and v3 of Party Contacts and get the same error, see below. Any other ideas?

    Hi Konrad Berger,

think you need to talk with the developers and ask them if they have created a new data entity, then they should check the data entity label.

    Hei Konrad,

Have you tried "Refresh entity list" and once it has been fulfilled try to publish the entity to the Azure SQLDB?

Make sure that the setup for Azure sql database source is correct (i.e. you can validate the connection to check if the connection works)

    Regards,

    Alireza
