Contacts and Customers link / synchronization enable or disable

Hi,

When I create a Customer from a Contact.

Client and Contact are linked and some fields (like phone number, address...) are synchronized.

Please, how does the sync work? with editable table mapping?

How to disable this synchronization? and keep the link.

    Microsoft learn has a good overview of this here

    There is nowhere in the interface to choose which fields are synced, this would require development.
