HSBC requires the date format in an EFT file to include slashes: 2013/12/03.
HSBC also requires the time format in an EFT file to I include colons and seconds: 10:13:00.
Dynamics GP 2013 cannot meet this criteria and the support team says they do not get calls for this issue.
Has anyone managed to solve this issue of creating an EFT file for HSBC with their date/time requirements (without a DEX customization)?

Mike, what I did to solve the date issue, is to use the Transmission Date with Format "YYYYMMDD" and made the Length 4 and Justified Left, this mean that only the year would be displayed on the file, I followed this with a Constant "/" one space long.
On the next Field I used Transmission Date and Date Format "MMYY" and this time made the field only 2 spaces long and Left justified as well, this only displays the date only, followed this with another Constant "/" of one space.
On the next field I selected Transmission Date again with format "DDMMYY", two spaces long Left Justify to only display the day.
There you have it the date is in the right format, I am planning on doing similar workaround for time and since GP is not giving me the seconds I will introduce a constant of ":00" after the system time field.
Hope this helps anyone out there who is looking for a solution, note this workaround applies to Microsoft Dynamics GP 2015.

Just in case anyone is still looking for this you can find the HSBC format here, I have also got a few more there too
Hey, yeah, I've got a format that works. It's entirely based upon the article that I mentioned above. And I know it works because my client is currently using it very, very often and successfully. Hope that helps. If you still can't get it, DM me through here.
Mike- Did you ever find a solution or work around for this? I'm running into a client with the same date format issue.
Thank you!
Hey.
Literally, in between then and now, I found this:
www.esicanada.com/.../dynamics-gp-creating-eft-file-format-follows-cpa-standard-005
Turns out the National Bank of Canada file format is the CPA Standard 005. It just needs one small change.
Hope that helps!

Most assuredly. And the bank. Two huge immovable objects. See latest reply in this thread about the 'final answer'. Ugly stuff.
Unfortunately the answer is NO. I tried a support call to Microsoft and I tried (multiple) calls to HSBC. in the end it came down to the client having to open the ACH File, add slashes for the date and colons between the hours and minutes, adding a :00 for seconds, and the increasing the line count on the top line by 2 so that the record reports ALL lines. Dynamics counts all lines but the first two I think.
Fortunately this client is expected to do very few ACH runs each month so the impact will be small.
But they will ask why in the hell their $100K ERP system can't interface seamlessly with a HUGE bank like HSBC.
Hey, did you ever get a solution on this? I have a client that's looking for HSBC EFT as well...
Yes I have and I'm getting a NoCanDo from both sides. I've asked each party if there are zero GP users sending EFT files to HSBC but of course no one knows what source an EFT file comes from. I've ask the HSBC EFT coordinator to ask the bank's IT department if they've developed a pre-import process that alters the date format automatically.
I'm desperately hoping I won't have to tell my client that their new GP 2013 system can't connect an EFT payment file with their new bank. Two billion dollar companies and they have incompatible date and time formats? Seems unbelievable.
In the end my client can open the EFT file each time and insert slashes and colons, etc. but that's a horrible process to tell someone about that just spent $125,000 on a new world-class ERP system.
I assume you have contacted the bank and asked about alternate formats?
