Hi
I'm trying to configure CRM as IFD
I've done the following:- Created a new Windows 2008 R2 machine- Install SQL 2008 with all the required Prerequisites (Reporting Server, etc.)- Patch SQL 2008 to SP1- Installed CRM 4.0 and Rollups (8)
It works perfectly in case of On-Premise configuration.
than:
- Created DNS host
- Applied CRM4IFDTool - (DNS Resolved correctly)
When I'm trying to access my crm application as a internet user I'm having windows popup request for user credentials instead of CRM page.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. (Actually I'm quite new in CRM - maybe I've just missed something)
Thanks, Vladimir

Hi Vladimir,
My guess is that the issue is within the ifdconfig configuration. Verify that you ahve entered all ips or networks that will be used for internal \ on prem authentication. Make sure to run ifdconfig by right clicking and run as administrator.
Hi Alex
thanks for your reply - actually you are right.
The problem was ifd configuration. Just solved it.
Subnet mask should be 255.255.255.255
Great to heard....the ifdconfig can be a tricky little tool the first time you use it....
