Workflow got stopped after approved - D365FO

Hi All,

We received the error after PO workflow got approved. Even tried with recalling and re-submitting the workflow.

Stopped (error): Function InventPendingRegistrationDetail::createPendingRegistrationDetail has been incorrectly called.

Please advice how we can resolve this issue.

Are what point in the approval exactly is the error coming up ?

After the workflow is completed, during the approval process? Show us a screenshot of the exact place where you see the error.

Hi Komi,

It is coming after completion of workflow , the status of PO is still in review.

Hi,

It appears that your workflow goes into error, after approval step, when it is trying to register the items.

Can you open the workflow to see what step it is after the approval?

Hi,

Unfortunately, it is hard to randomly guess and suggest something, provided the circumstances.

Is there any possibility, that you can restore the data on a non-prod system and debug it, by resuming the workflow.

If restoring database and debugging is not an option, please raise a support call with Microsoft and ask them to provide you details from the backend (after all it is standard workflow , without customization)

Hi Akbar,

Did you find your answer or do you still need help? It will be great if you can provide us with an update.
When I look at the error, I wonder if there is any customization causing the issue.
