Multiple Org Imports using Import-CrmOrganization

We're upgrading to 2013 from 2011 and I need to import 50+ orgs in a weekend.  I'm using Powershell for this.  I'd like to run more than 1 import at a time to reduce the migration time.  I've tried sending multiple Import-CrmOrganization commands on different sessions but only 1 shows as processing at a time.  The others show a queued state.  Is there a setting in Async that will allow more than 1 to run at a time?  Also not seeing the org imports in the Perfmon counters on the async server which seems odd.

Thanks,

    Tim,

I typically import (and export) solutions/data through the GUI.

I mainly use CRM 2016, is there a reason why you are upgrading from 2011 to 2013 instead of 2016?

If you go to Settings --> Data Management --> Import Templates

You might find a nice template (that MDCRM builds for you based on your design) that works with the organizational data that you wish to import.

I've never been able to import more than one solution at a time... I would presume that's how organizations work as well.

Check out the templates and let me know.

    Regards,

    LTIII

We're planning to migrate to 2016 but you have to go through 2013/2015 to get there.  Because we have so many orgs we need to use scripting (Powershell or the sdk) to manage the import process.  Hoping someone can answer why org imports block on each other in the asynch process.
