E-mail router configuration

Trying to configure the E-mail Router because when a user sends a mail, it appears that it is send on behaf the administrator, because in the Incoming and Outgoing server configuration the User Type is set to Administrator and the credencials are from the admins account (in this case, mine). So when a user sends a mail, it reads "Ricard Castellet (my name) sent this on behaf (the user)". Can anybody help me to configure the Email Router in order to get the mail sent by the user without any behaf?

Many thanks in advance. Best regards,

You have to provide "send as" permission for the account that is used in the outgoing email profile on the email router. It seems you used "delegate" permission thats the reason you are seeing on behalf message when message goes out.

If you select Administrator as the user type, you must select either Delegate Access or Send As permission as the access type. Delegate Access causes email messages to be sent as "Send on behalf of" messages. Send As permission causes email messages to be sent as "Send As" messages.

    Hi Chitra,

Many thanks for your answer. A doubt. The account used in the outgoing email profile on the email router is my account. Should I then provide "send as" permission in my account? Where can I do that in CRM or in Exchange?

    Best,

    Ricard

You have to provide "send as" permission in exchange.
