Ax2012 R3 GL journal data import using Excel-addin

Hi, 

In Ax2012 R3 I am trying to setup data import using Excel-adding for accounting staff. I have deployed the service, created the excel template and uploaded data once. When i try to use the same excel template again to do the data upload i am getting an error. 

I tried several times, only first time it uploads, cannot use the same excel template again. 

Please help.

    Hi Chirani,

    I have seen this when Excel templates are created by one user and shared with others. The only option usually is then creating a new template. As you have already the columns / data you want to import this can quickly be realized even if it is cumbersome.

    Thank you Ludwig. I tried creating a new template first time it does the work. But again if i try to use the same template,  I am getting an error.

    Hi Chirani,

    Has another user tried setting up the template and got the same error?

    What also usually does the Job is opening the AiF Service form from the AOT and refresh the LedgerGeneralJournalService.

    The last thing I would suggest trying is deactivating and reactivating the inbound port in the system administration module.

    Hi Ludwig, 

    Thank you for your message.  I have done what you asked me to do, and I haven't got any errors.  

    But I make sure I have created a new template, save it. When I use the template  I keep the original template intact. Not saving anything on it.  I manage to upload about 5 times using the same template, without any errors.  

    And when defining, dimension structures, always did the lookup, and validate from the lookup window.

    I have tested with another user, it worked. 

    All working now.
