The stored procedure taPAProjects doesn't exist.

Hello:

When using eConnect for GP 2010 to import Project Accounting projects into the Project Cards, I get an error that says, "The stored procedure taPAProjects doesn't exist."

But, we took a look in the company database in SQL.  Indeed, this stored procedure is there.  How can we convince eConnect of that?

Thanks!  Much appreciated!

John

    Hi John,

I have used taProjects and contracts to create Projects didn't got any errors like that. Can you check event viewers to see any additional errors.

    Thanks

    Hi Sandip:

I'm afraid that Event Viewer is saying the same thing, as follows:

Action: Create Current User Name: Input parameters: Exception type: Microsoft.Dynamics.GP.eConnect.eConnectException Exception message: The stored procedure 'taPAProjects' doesn't exist. Stack Trace: at Microsoft.Dynamics.GP.eConnect.ServiceProxy.CreateEntity(String connectionString, String xml) at Microsoft.Dynamics.GP.eConnect.eConnectMethods.EntityImportImplementation(String connectionString, String sXML, Boolean isTransaction) at Microsoft.Dynamics.GP.eConnect.eConnectMethods.ProcessEntityImport(String connectionString, String sXML, Boolean isTransaction) at Microsoft.Dynamics.GP.eConnect.eConnectMethods.CreateEntity(String connectionString, String sXML)

    John,

Is connectionstring mapping to right database?  Is any other method working with current database?  Which user id you are using? Is it mapping to default schema DBO?

    Thanks

    Hi Sandip:

It's possible that it's not pointing to the correct server.  I see that, now.  The IT department doesn't quite know what it's doing.

I'll keep you posted and let you know if that's it.  I may not know, until tomorrow.

    Thanks, for the great tip!
