240When my client voids a journal entry that contains more than one variable allocation account, we get an allocation cursor error message. I recreated the issue in Fabrikam. Is this a known GP bug? We are in GP 10 SP5.
Recreate the issue:
Set up two separate variable allocation accounts in GP Fabrikam.
I set up 000-6180-00 and 000-6181-00. Add a few distribution accounts to each of them.
Enter a JE with these two account numbers. I debited one of them for $5 and credited the other for $5. Save the JE. void the JE.
An error message appears:
A cursor with the name 'allocation cursor' already exists.
