Quick Filter option missing

Hello,

I'm missing the Quick Filter option when I apply Simple List pattern into my Form in VisualStudio.

I already tried to build again (also with clean, refreshing DB, refreshing models, restarting VS) but it didn't help..

Here are the models that I reference + FleetManagement

It may be something wrong with your Development Tools/Extension.

I cannot reproduce this issue in my local system, as I can choose that control (QuickFilter)

Did you install the development tools recently? Has it worked before, ever?

I don't know if it worked before as this is my first try.

On version 17.14.16 that I installed at glance, it didn't work.

Yesterday I performed an update to the latest, greatest 17.14.17, but still the same.. :(

Is it dependant on some package, model, datasource or something else?

Yes this dependent upon DEV Tools. Please recheck if you have installed all components in order.

I checked and everything seems working. I followed exactly this procedure a month ago when I was installing it.

I am able to connect to and deploy to my online environment (a simple helloworld form with just a label in a menuItem) so I assume it must be ok.

Could it be that something is missing in the reference metadata (PackagesLocalDirectory)?

Hi @VladoB

I do not think it could be due to reference packages. Because no matter if you have one reference package or more, the controls in the VS UI should have no impact for that reason.
Somewhere your metadata for development tools is broken. Did your Dynamics F&O system get an update recently?

QuickFilter control is defined in ApplicationPlatform package. Your screenshot shows a reference to it, but double-check if it's really the setup of your model and that your project is really associated with the model.

By the way, remove the references to form adaptor packages. They are used for testing and I believe that depending on them may prevent your solution from deploying to T2+ environments.

But Im getting this error message when starting VS:

This seems like the cause.

Im thinking of reinstalling the whole VS..
