Can you translate the error message to English, please?

If you're trying to add another AOS for an existing database (for AX 2012 R3 CU9), please confirm that your installer has CU9 slipstreamed.

Also, make sure that you have sufficient permissions in SQL Server.

    Hi Martin,

Thank you for replying back, actually error itself shows with those characters and when I try to use Google translate it detects this characters to be as English and also translates to same

ya I am using CU9 Slipstreamed and I do have sys admin access on SQL Server.

I checked this path on windows where I am trying to run setup and it doesn't have that MSI File C:\Windows\Installer, which it needs to further proceed.

I tried repairing the AX setup and support files through add/remove programs but still same issue because as soon as I run AX Setup it fails with error as I gave.

I am bit hesitant to uninstall AX Client and AOS Service on existing machine because the current AOS is working perfectly fine and if I uninstall those and if I try reinstalling components if it doesn't work, then I will loose working AX as well.

What is your language on the machine where you running the installer? Maybe the text is ruined because of a problem with encoding.

Hi, any news on this topic?

I have exactly same situation in upgrade process to Ax 2012 R3.

There is installed and working Ax 2012 R2 CU6 environment that we want to upgrade to Ax 2012 R3, just when pressing "Install Microsoft Dynamics Ax components" on Setup get same error.

Looks like Installer files got corrupted.

Try running the setup on different server and check if it works fine.

Then if above step doesn't work, As a initial troubleshooting, you can try downloading the setup again from partnersource and respective CU, and then try again.

Also, it will be more helpful if you can post all All steps you are performing and when you are receiving the error. Try to get the Log from event viewver too.

    Thanks for your contribution.

The media software for install is ok.

    The problems persist.

...when i try to install any element ( Clic on "Microsoft Dynamics AX Component" option) then show me a error dialog window
