I am wanting to use javascript on the account form to add the unique database id.

Does anyone know how I can go about getting and setting that?

I have reviewed a lot of documentation but haven't found anything helpful yet.

    Its simple.

    Xrm.Page.data.entity.getId();

    to retrieve your GUID.

    Then insert it into the wanted field.

    So that is giving the guid for the account itself or the form?  Would I also be able to use this on the Contact and Leads forms to get the guids?

    Yes.

    I appreciate the help with this.  It appears to be working on the Account, Leads, and Contacts forms.
