Announcements
After the update of Business Central 20, we are experiencing some issues in the report layouts for sales invoices (Word layout).
Even when using the standard sales invoice layout (1306), the formatting of the numbers is not (always) correct on the layout. After some investigation, we found that using the Auto Format codeunit (cdu 45) will now use the language ID that you set in the report (CurrReport.Language). That poses a big problem since we have customers that want to send out documents in (e.g.) English while the number formatting should still be according to their own regional settings. Before the BC20 update, the AutoFormat always returned the correct numbers.
I don't know whether this is a bug or not but the fact is that our customers are getting wrong output now on their documents. If someone has any idea on how to fix it, your help would be greatly appreciated
Hi, If this is a global issue with CurrReport.Language, I feel like it might be fixed in the next CU. It is recommended that you submit to Microsoft.
In addition, if you are in a hurry, I think you can try the following method.
Hope this helps.
Thanks.
