Update a field with multi-select using csv upload

We have contacts who have gone to multiple events and we want to be able to update this using csv upload. A similar idea is how Mailchimp has tags.

Is it possible to set up a multi-select field, and then whenever you upload a contact that field gets updated to show the different events?  I know I might need to clarify this question a bit better.

    Hi,

I am afraid that's not possible with CSV upload.

You will have to write code/use power automate.

Create text field and use this field for CSV import, now write plugin/power automate to fetch existing selected value of multi select field and append new value based on your text field.

ok that is helpful, but what if we upload four different csv files at different times.

    sheet 1:

    adam - event1

    sheet 2:

    adam - event2

how can we make it so that adam's record updates event1 and event2 even though they were uploaded from different sheets.

    Hi,

Try to specify the values in CSV separated by semicolon
