MR: The operation could not be completed due to a problem in the data provider framework

Hi:

I have tried everything under the sun in regard to the Management Reporter error, "The operation could not be completed due to a problem in the data provider framework".

What are some things that you all have conducted to eliminate this?

Hi John,

That error can be caused by a number of things. You'll want to re-create the error and then check the Event Viewer on the MR server. There should be something logged under Applications and Services Logs | Microsoft | Dynamics | MR-Logger | Operational. There should be 2-3 errors with the same timestamp. Those should give you a better idea of why it is failing.
