Installed SBS 2008 as virtual machine and checking on Pre-Install for MSCRM 4.0.  Don't see Indexing Service or SQL Server/Agent/Reporting Services/Ful Text Search) for MSSQLSERVER.  I do see for SBSMONITORING.

 Please advise.

    Added role for Indexing Service and now have to figure out what to do about MSSQLSERVER as SBSMONITORING for Sharepoint is in play already.

    So figured out that 2005 SQL installed with SBS 2008 Server and that MSCRM will add it's instance during install.  I was confused by course guide.

    Now SQL Agent issue with SBS 2008 as it does not appear in services so I cannot start it and MSCRM install will not continue.  This is in a Virtual Environment and am seeing Host OS Server show up to assign location for SQL Server but not the within the VM itself.

    Pete,

     Sounds like we are having the same issue.  I have SBS2008 and the CRM install fails because it cannot find the indexing service. 

     I'm poking around with different things to see if I can get this to work and will share what I find.
