GP Web services errors

Posted on by 325
I have installed GP Web Services without any issues. But the log file that got created has the following two errors: 1) Property(C): INVALID_WP_ACCOUNT.709BA8F5_EF74_44FC_A6A6_1F937D911BAE = The user account specified for the Dynamics Security Admin Service worker process is invalid. 2) Property(C): INVALID_WP_ACCOUNT.3D656669_A78B_4681_9A90_C0491EB68C9F = The user account specified for the Dynamics Security Service worker process is invalid. I can open Dynamic Security Console but can't access Policy as it gives me an error: Server was unable to process the request ---> An exception occurred that the exception subsystem was not able to log Consult your system administrator In case of the DynamicsWebServicesExceptionsConsole I get an error stating : Cannot access the exception service. Verify that the configuration file exists and contains the correct path to the exception service. I have consulted most of the information available online but couldn't find solution. I would appreciate any pointers. Thank you Syed

    Re: GP Web services errors
Sandip, Thank you for your response. Last time when i installed Web Service, I used SQL Server 2005 then I didn't got this error instead I was getting SOAP Exception error while using the CRM 4 GP 10 Adapter feature pack 3. But now I am using SQL Server 2008 as my DB. 1) User Account that installed GP Web services is the administrator. 2) As for SQL Server 2008 the administrator of the system owns the schema in DB and role member is DYNGRP. I have added more schema and roles to this user. Do I have reinstall web service to see the effect of the change. 3) Yes the User Account is member of the domain. Thank You Syed

    SyedPro,

    1) May be the user account that was used to install Dynamics GP WebService does not have correct permission on WebService Server.

    2) Check user account has correct role in SQL Server

    3) User Account is memeber of domain ?

Check the above criteria and see how it goes.

    Thanks

    Sandip Jadhav
