SDT - Rockton Software Resources

Using Security Profiler I can track down to a window and jump to the resource information.
SDT knows the resource is 22047 Rockton's Auditor Windows - Auditor Table Archive/Purge.
So far so good.
But SDT does not know anything about the tables associated with the Form.
Is there a way to 'refresh' the SDT tool to 'know' more about a Rockton product?
Or are we currently unable to obtain more information (like associated tables) for the third-party product?
Thank you,

Mike Lupro

Mike, have you tried using Rockton's GP Toolbox Inspector tool?  it will provide table/field info on 3rd party products.

    Hope this helps,

I'l love to use that tool but it presents two issues for me.

    1.  The client has to have purchased the Toolbox (I wish everyone would but it's unrealistic)

    2.  I can install it on my PC or VPC but I'd have to install / implement the ISV product first.  And I can't see where I'd have the time or patience to install a product as complex as WennSoft on my personal system.

But it's a good solution if the circumstance allows it.

Does the client have Fabrikam installed in the production environment?  You can download and user the Toolbox free of charge on Fabrikam.

    Hi Mike,

The tables for the Rockton Software products are all starting with WDCxxxxx, named after the former company that build the tools (Winthrop Dexterity Consultant) back in the early 2000.

Unfortunatly there is no known technical documentation out there about the table structures, but as suggested Frank, the GP Toolbox Inspector does a great job (you can try it out for free )

    Hi Mike

The Support Debugging Tool should be able to list the table associated with a form, but it would not be able to tell you anything specific about how the tables are used.

Also, Dexterity code can be written to use a table without it being associated with the form. So the list of associated tables might not include tables accessed from global functions and procedures.

From the Security Profiler, open the Resource Information window to be able to list associated tables.

    David
