Is it possible to change inventory status using a transfer journal?

Is it possible to change inventory status using a transfer journal? There are "From inventory status" and "To inventory status" fields on the transfer journal line, but the system will not allow me to change "To inventory status". It is locked to the same value as "From inventory status".

Hello Tanner,

You cant change Inventory Status with the Transfer Journal, so what you are seeing is normal.

Currently there are three ways to change inventory status (that I know off):

1) With mobile device ("movement" menu item with Inventory Status displayed)

2) The Periodic task to Change Inventory Status; and

3) The On-hand by location screen
