Hi Everyone,

New to D365. I am looking for feedback as to how many legal entities a single instance can handle. I am looking to move over ~500 entities between Eu and NA with the instance hosted in West Europe.

The heavy lifting is month end quarter close with all finance groups actively running report and data entry against the Trial Balance. We currently are on AX R3 on several instance for each region but I keep hearing I can consolidate into one. Need to know what's real.

Hi Steve,

Thank you for the reply. Its the F&O module. I did turn up a Finance & Operation module an EU instance in West Europe and I have a tester in North America going through the basic functions with acceptable results but this test is only using out of box configurations with no true load or custom configurations which we are developing today as well as back end processing as we have today. We will need to host a total of ~20K user with 1500 super users and 6k Power users. the rest will be accessing the T&E functionality. My fear is month and quarter close when everyone is rushing the system for reporting against the Trail Balance or trying to upload their T&E. These are constraints we have today.
