anomaly when receiving an item

Hello everyone,

I have a problem with Dynamics AX 2012 R2 that I don't understand
I received an item with Item arrival journal in which I introduced a warehouse of reception. 
But, when I viewed the item's transactions I found that AX did the reception in another warehouse.
in another situation, I found that AX divided the quantity received on two warehouses.
do you have any explanations?

    Hi Lamounia,

    I think it would be helpful if you can post some screenshots from following setups:

    1) Item.

    2) Warehouse.

    3) Item arrival journal.

    4) Inventory transactions.

    Extra information will also be welcome. Is your item site-warehouse tracked? Is warehouse mandatory? Do both warehouses belong to the same site?

    By the way, are you sure you are working on an environment free from customizations?

    Hi Lamounia,

    If the receiving warehouse has an Quarantine requirement then the item might be received  in 2 different warehouse and after the close of quarantine order it will be received in to the warehouse intended.

    Do check if the item has Quarantine requirement checked in the Item model group.

    Also consider reservations (which quarantine would cover) so the screen shots and the transactions would be very useful.
