Hi guys,

I have a requirement. When i am clicking on resolve button in case entity.. status of that record gets change and it becomes read only. At the same time when the record status getting change to resolved i need to add some value in custom field in the same record. Is there any way i can achieve this.

    Hi,

You should be able to achiev this by wrtting the real time workflow on statu change. Check the status and perform you required actions.

    Hi Ahmed,

Configure workflow which execute when Record Status Change or Record Field Change and then do update based on condition.

    Hello,

You can write pre plugin and set your field using plugin: community.dynamics.com/.../plugin-when-a-case-incident-is-resolved-in-crm-2013

Hi, because Case is Dynamic CRM Standard Entity. I believe this requirement will be easier if you just using workflow or plugin. So you can setup workflow on status update equal to resolved, then you can update whatever attribute you need to update.
