Data entity refresh

Hi, 

I have refreshed my list of data entities from "Data management > Framework parameters >> Entity setting" because when trying to export journal names the mapping was not generating. Now I get this message: 

"The entity list is being refreshed. Job execution during this time must be stopped. After this operation is completed, entities already published to your database must be re-published if required to ensure schema consistency."

What does that sentence mean? What does it imply to "re-publish" entities??

    Hi CapsLock,

    You can check this post to read about how entities are published into BYOD DB. If any changes are made to the entities being exported to the BYOD DB, you need to drop the tables from the DB, and re-publish the entities.

    Lets say you have an entity 'Test1' published already with columns A,B and C and now you have modified your entity and added column D and after deployment you have refreshed entity from framework parameters then your entity 'Test1' will have  column D as well  and if you want that column in BYODB then you would have to publish your entity to get the new column.
