    Hi

You could either create a crash dump file and have Microsoft Support look at it:

    blogs.msdn.com/.../how-to-create-a-crash-dump-for-for-axapta-processes.aspx

Or you could verify that you are not having any of the issues listed in here:

    technet.microsoft.com/.../dd362017.aspx

    technet.microsoft.com/.../dd362017.aspx

Normally, when I see a sudden crash, it is due to invalid version of one of the components; client (kernel), service (kernel) or application. Or a bad client/server cache.

It is also possible that you are being bit by this situation:

    support.microsoft.com/.../913384

    Hi Freek Willem,

A sudden crash can also be caused by network latency. I saw this happen on AX4.0 in the past at two implementations.

Check also if the AOS server is connected by using ip addresses in stead of machine names. If you are using machine names, due to network latency the ip address cannot be resolved in time by the DNS and AX can crash as well.

So check the suggestions of Tommy and this one.

    Hey all,

Tnx for you're input. I had the server rebooted, afther that no crash like that has happend.

At the same time of the crash I had user requesting a repport witch caused his client to stop working, this report now runs fine again.

So I think there is a relation in that.

If it hapens again I will run the crash report tool.
