Enabling is_broker_enabled on Dynamics AX database

Dear Friends,

I want to create one external real time application connecting to Dynamics AX database directly. For that I need to enable is_broker_enabled property to true. Are there any complications if I enable this property on Dynamics AX database?

    Microsoft won't give you any direct access to the production database in Azure, therefore the whole idea is wrong. Use web services instead.

    Or do you actually mean an older version than D.365FO, despite selecting "current version"?

    Note that direct DB access wasn't ever recommended, because it bypasses security, caching etc. and you couldn't reuse any business logic, including kernel logic dealing with partitions, companies, virtual companies, table inheritance, date-effective data and so on...

    You can not do any changes  any production database in cloud version. You have to think of alternative for what you are trying to do.  Did you look below link to consider different design for your integration?
