How to set DocDate in SOP tables when creating an invoice through GP Web Services

There seem to be only three SOP date fields exposed through web services and econnect which are: InvoiceDate, Date, CreatedDate, ExchangeDate, ModifiedDate, etc. The date field I need to set, DocDate in SOP10100, does not appear to be exposed through WS or econnect.

The business problem I am trying to solve is that on the 1st of every month, we add transactions from our manufacturing system from the day before. These transactions end up in the wrong revenue period. Our source system for manufacturing shows we produced x number of widgets in March, but the financial system shows y number of widgets produced because we are not processing transactions into GP in realtime. Any easy solution would be to set the DocDate to the actual transaction date instead of the system generated date, which I assume, is what is happening.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Did you ever get feedback on how to change the docdate using eConnect? I am running into the same problem where updating <DOCDATE> actually updates the Fulfillment and Actual Shipping dates, but not DocDate
