Hi All,

We have implemented MS CRM for a insurance customer and they are using only the Web version of the CRM. The business users receive multiple files as part of the claims processing and they are not satisfied with the option of clicking each and every file. Just want to check if there is any option to download all attachments with a single click?

Any suggestion in the regard is highly appreciated.

Thanks,

Baren

You will have to implement it using custom code. This is not available out of the box. You can create a custom application and show it in an IFrame inside which you can search for all attachments and download.

    HI ,

Yes, You can download all the files in a single click , you need to some effort.

    1) Create a button on the Email entity record , Either on the Form / List view - based on your requirement.

    2) on click of the button, get all the attached files data, and zip them with Jquery/ java script

    3) Then download the created zip file ( Or you can add this zip file to attachments if required in future)

    Hi Barendra,

Are they using SharePoint for document management??

If yes, you can use this tool from power objects which will solve all your problems.

It is a paid application and will move the attachments of email activities to SharePoint automatically for every 5 minutes by creating a folder with the Year\month\date format.

    Hi Vignesh,

Thanks for your response. Paid application is not a viable option as this might take more time as it has to go through the purchasing process.

    Hi Shekar,

Thanks for your response. Looks a good idea. Let me do the POC and see how it goes.

I agree with you barendra, but it is a simply & light process and it involves only one dollar per user per month with timely updates from the power objects. We are using the same for one of our projects and is a simple configuration working fine with both on-line & On-premise.
