Hi all,

I have a question regarding inventory costs: Just run this report manually (didn't post anything)

so, I got entries from 1st of April and I don't know why

this sale was made on April

I took the doc no and looked for it in BC

so, I don't know why I got adjustments from April when I filtered dates till 31st of March.

Does anyone know? Thank you in advanced!

    Hi

Can you please check and see if Inventory Period closed for March? If yes then that could be a reason.

    Valeria,

First, I want to make sure you run Adjust-Cost Item Entries first. If yes, on this action, in the Option page, please make the option Post = TRUE. Yo have it as false so nothing posts.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Steve

First, inventory periods are not required and really not much help

Second, you must run, as Steve indicated the Adjust Cost-Item Entries to get data on your report

Third, control your dates with the Allow Posting From and To Dates in General Ledger Setup. The adjust cost routine will honor these dates and post anything from a date prior to the 'from date' to the 'from date'
