View Filter by current user on fields other than Owner

Hi,

Is there any way to filter a column (for example UserName) with current user in View? In My Active view the filter is based on "Owner is current user" and I need to change it to something like Username is current user?

Is that doable and if yes, how can I do that?

the filter "equal current user" can be used only against lookups pointing to user (including the owner type), not to text fields or other types
