List of all entities in a security role

Hello there,

Defining security roles, we realized there are a lot of entities we really don´t know what are they and where are they used.

Does anyone know where can I find the detail of each entity or option available among all tabs of the security role configuration?

This will be much appreciated.

Hi ,

This is very good approach that you want to know the all entities and privileges. Apart from that few things you need to consider before configure new Security roles -

- Don't create new security role from scratch.

- Always create Security role by copying from another existing security role which has provided by MS by default.

- Let say an example you want to give a user minimum privilege in that case select "Salesperson" security role and in the top under more action click "Copy Role" . If you want to give most of the entity access you can create copy of "System administrator" role and remove some entity access which you don't need form the new role.
