Business Portal Network Credential prompted repeatedly

Hi,

We have client upgrade their GP9 to GP2010 and Business Portal from their existing lower version to BP 5.1 last month and it was succesfully working. However Business Portal Users encountering the network credential (Connecting to Web Server) window prompting regularly during the processing of records in Business Portal (sample in Purchase Request) and when they supply their credentials they will be rejected and the page display blank.

* I checked their Security Settings - Internet Zone, under User Authentication - the Automatic logon with current user name and password is mark for all zone.
* Also the Windows Aunthentication for Business Portal is enable

I'm looking a solution over the web and just found this link below similar issue but their is no solution on how to fix.

Is there any setup to configure to stop prompting the network credential?

    Hi Robs,

    Here's sample screenshot where the network credential window prompts.

    According to our client this network credential prompts intermittently sometimes I wouldn't prompts.

    Is there a specific configuration in IIS and Sharepoint that I need to check?

    Ronie,

    What is an example of a page that you're seeing the prompts?  Are there web parts that are not rendering?  If they are not rendering, that could be a sign that they're causing the prompt.  Business Portal itself wouldn't be doing any prompting.  The prompting would be a function of IIS and SharePoint.

    Hi Rob,

    Actually I don't know what's cause of prompting of Network Credential window and don't where to start looking to find the cause.

    Is there possible setup I missed and needs to configure?

    Is there a possible setup that need to be than by our client network setup than cause promting?

    I created a test web server same version and compared with our client web server environment. The only difference is that our client Business Portal is from lower version and upgrade to BP 5.1 and my web server environment is install directly to BP 5.1 and connected to our domain. But did'nt encounter prompting the network credential window.

    please help.!

    Hi Rob,

    Yes, they successfully log into business portal without asking their credential, the network credential prompt within business portal while they are working.

    To which SharePoint security permissions are referring to?

    When they log in the security zone in the Internet Explorer display in the lower right is Trusted Sites

    Are your users able to successfully log into Business Portal?  Have they been set up with SharePoint security permissions?  When they log in, what security zone does Internet Explorer display in the lower right?  (Internet, Intranet, Trusted Sites, ...)
