Bussiness Portal FillDataGrid exception: [object Error]

For The past Week i have been getting a pop up in Business Portal, the message i recevie is this, FillDataGrid exception: [object Error]

in conjunction i am also haveing the problem which is on this page https://community.dynamics.com/gp/b/dynamicsgpessentials/archive/2013/09/08/business-portal-mbfwebbehavior-recurring-error-message

which is linked to mbfwebbehavior i have followed the steps in microsoft offer but no luck, i have a fealing these two problems are connected.

Any help would be greatly appriciated

    Hi Hinesh,

    Has this been working previously ?

    Did you ever installed the Active-X plugin for BP that is requred to run BP correctly ? some of the basic pages of BP may work without it, but when it comes into pulling data thru some of the grids, the ActiveX is mandatory.

    There are 2 ways of getting this installed:

    1. start the IE browser in elevated mode (Admin Privileges) and agree to the installation of the plugin when the pop-up comes up

    2. locate on Customer source the file 'BusinessPortal-ActiveX.msi' and install it on every workstation where users are going to access BP. This can be achieved with GroupPolicy to deploy on your corporate network.

    It has to be noted that BP only works 100% correctly with Internet Explorer, due to the required ActiveX plugin.

    HI Beat, yes it has untill last week, where users are either getting the popup of the above mentioned error or, to install the MbfWebBehaviors.dll.

    The odd thing is if i log on using the main GP admin account it works fully without any problems.

    May I ask if there were any Windows Updates pushed out to the workstations ?

    What main GP admin account are you talking about ?

    Business Portal works usually with the AD user account linked to the back-end GP user & Employee ID from the GP companies.
