Hello all,

I have been battling with the installation of MDGP2010R2 at a client's office.

I uninstalled MDGP2010 and tried installing the R2 but after I accept and agree to the software usage terms of conditions and select the "run all from my computer" features, choose an ODBC and click on INSTALL, the application automatically stops and displays a message "THE INSTALLTION HAS FAILED".

Kindly assist me in resolving this please.

Thanks Jonathan,I was able to fix the issue eventually. There was a symantec application that kept on preventing me from proceeding with the installation process.

We would need to see a Windows installer log. Also make sure the installation media is local and you are logged in as a local admin.
