Ver. 26.0 throwing an error when using "Send to Excel (Only Data)" on a report

Good day, community!
 
Please let me know if this isn't the right forum to post this in. Today, some members of my team ran into an issue that seems to only occur in BC ver. 26.0 (maybe above, too). When we open the reporting options pane for any report, and click Send To > Microsoft Excel Document (data only) > OK, we're greeted with the following nondescript error:
 
 
This is replicable among multiple environments and tenants. I'm unsure how to troubleshoot this, or how we could go about reporting it to Microsoft. Would anyone mind giving me some pointers?

    It’s not working in my environment either. I’ve just raised a ticket with the Microsoft Business Central team.

    Its working fine for me. could you please share more details which report you are trying to generate?

    Hello,

    Yes, this is a known issue in Business Central version 26.0 affecting the "Send To > Microsoft Excel Document (data only)" export option. If you haven't reported it yet, please do so via Microsoft support or your partner. Microsoft is aware of the issue and will likely address this shortly.

    I have exact same issue. Told colleague to just use other excel format in the meantime. This is for ALL the reports- this V26 has created a lot more issues with us than other upgrades. I've been having web services failing that was working fine before, etc. thanks for reporting this. I was about to write a question about this.

    I tested Ver. 26.1 and found that this problem does not exist. Maybe it is just a problem with 26.0. You can try upgrading to 26.1 as soon as possible.

    It appears to be an issue with time zones.  Another forum post suggested changing the User's time zone setting to the opposite of what is normal (from -5 to +5, for example).  I had some of our account managers test this and it did allow the report to run.  This is only a Band-Aid, but for a critical report it will hopefully help.
     
    P.S. We tested in 26.1 and found the issue present there as well.  Hopefully Microsoft can get an update pushed out to resolve this.

    Hi
     
    If it helps anyone I get the error message as above using CST or EST time zones but not when I choose GMT.
     
    I also can't get the debugger to trap the error grrr
