When creating a plugin - you can inject custom .NET code into the CRM processing pipeline at the different events specified by the given message (create, update, delete, etc...) Plug-in Registration Entities for Microsoft Dynamics CRM

You could potentially create a plugin to register it against events in CRM to sync the data to AX or another system.

You cannot create your own messages.

    Hello Prashanth,

An SDK Message Processing Step entity identifies the event in the pipeline for which a plug-in should be executed.

For details you can check this out msdn.microsoft.com/.../gg309563.aspx
