Error while processing a credit note

Hello All,

I tried processing a credit note for an item and facing the error - No inventory transactions have been generated for the newly created credit note sales line with item Id , line number 0.00, sales order.

Below attached screenshot is for your reference. Kindly share your thoughts on this.

Hi,

Did you try to debug the code and see where it's failing exactly? Maybe we can tell more from the code.

Hi Layan,

Thanks for the reply.

This issue was in production and bringing them DB is quite a bit of time taking process and also the customer is not comfortable with it.

Note: when I select the item in credit note and click ok that is where this error message pops-up. Kindly give share your thoughts if you have any, based on this information.

Hi,

I think the error you encountered indicates that no inventory transactions were created for the credit note line. To resolve this, verify that the credit note line has the correct item setup, including inventory dimensions like site and warehouse. Also, ensure that the item is stocked, and that the original sales order and inventory transactions are correct for your required process.
