How to add the markup description and amount to a receipt format

How can I add manually the markup description and amount to a receipt?

The fields are not available in the designer to drag and drop onto the receipt.

The only way currently to get it on there that I know of is to delete my custom receipt. Then create a copy of a standard receipt e.g. 18, and then re-add all the custom.

I had to just now go through this painful process. Why is it not available in the field list of the footer to drag and drop?

It looks like the markup description and receipt is not working anyways.

If I copy a standard receipt format that has it on and then open the layout designer to make sure it is there, then assign this receipt format to my receipt profile and create an  delivery customer order so that I can add shipping charges against the order in POS and print or email the receipt afterwards, no markup description and amount is shown. Even if you look in HQ at the sales order and the charges is shown on the order.

So I end up  using a custom field on the receipt format to show the shipping charges.
