Guidance for a non-Techi

- From an existing customer base? What is best approach to identify potential customers for a new product? What could be the approach/mechanism for data collection?

- From existing customers in CRM, identify potential customer list for a new investment product- What could be best way to feed/collect the data required for achieving this.

When a new product is launched, from the above potential customer list we will be meeting the customers, we want to know the status of each of the customer from a sales cycle perspective.

What should be our approach to achieve this in CRM? I am looking for guidance to approach this business requirement

    Selecting the list of the customers for a new product will depend upon the category of the product and interest of the customer. However, for sales cycle you can start creating new opportunities for existing customers, contact them, propose quotes and then finalize the sales process. Using this approach you will be able to identify the revenue as well.
